Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:
- The candidates for Cuyahoga County Executive answered questions from editorial boards of The Plain Dealer and cleveland.com last week ahead of the Nov. 8 election. Democrat Chris Ronayne and Republican Lee Weingart exchanged words on Wednesday during the interview process, which appeared to get heated at times. The two candidates explained two vastly different views of the county's future. (Cleveland.com)
- The City of Strongsville is hosting a series of Adult Volleyball Leagues in the Auxiliary Gym. The games are scheduled for Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays, starting on Oct. 16. The league will be 10 weeks long. To participate, players must be 18 years and older. To register, email Steve.neoathletics@gmail.com. (City of Strongsville)
- Cuyahoga County has been named a 2022 Digital Inclusion Trailblazer for its work in providing affordable, high-speed internet access. The recognition was given by the National Digital Inclusion Alliance. The county is one of nine different counties in the United States to have the designation. (Cuyahoga County)
