🌱 Flooding Concerns + Strongsville Trick Or Treat Information

Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:

1. The U.S. National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for Cuyahoga County on Thursday morning. The advisory was due to rain impacting the Northeast Ohio region late Wednesday night. By 1:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, one to two inches of rain had fallen in the region. The National Weather Service was concerned about urban and small-stream flooding. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
2. Trick or Treat is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 31 in Strongsville. Children will be out collecting candy from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Halloween night. The Strongsville Police Department will have extra patrols on the streets during Trick or Treat. Residents are asked to drive slowly and proceed with extra caution during those hours. 3. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner reports that the driver that died on Tuesday at Lake Erie was George Brandon of Shaker Heights. The 79-year-old man crashed his pick-up truck into the lake around 10:20 a.m. near E. 55th Street Marina. Cleveland Metroparks was the first on the scene. (Cleveland 19)
