Former Strongsville Schools Employee and Scoutmaster Sentenced to Prison for Child Rape

The former Strongsville schools employee and Scoutmaster who pleaded guilty to child rape has been sentenced to six years in prison.

Oren Youngstein, 64, the former Strongsville schools employee and Scoutmaster who pleaded guilty on March 10th to rape of a teenage boy has been sentenced to six years in prison.

Upon release from prison, Youngstein is required to register as a tier-three sex offender and participate in five years of post-release probation, reports Cleveland.com.

Youngstein had been a scoutmaster for 30 years until his resignation last year and from 1996 to 2004 was an IT assistant for Strongsville City Schools. Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty's office points out that the incident was not related to scouts and that no incidents involving students had been reported while Youngstein was employed with the school.
