Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:
- The City of Strongsville has been awarded a $725,000 grant through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The grant money is meant for the city's town center redesign project. The city continues to collect funds for the project. Click for the project's proposal. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
- A Woodbriar Drive resident reported to the Strongsville Police Department that a possible tracking device was placed on her vehicle. The woman believed that her ex-husband had placed the suspected device. Department officers searched the car but were unable to locate a device. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
- Cuyahoga County's Justice Center Executive Steering Committee has declined a proposal for a new county jail site. The Committee declined the 44-acre plot at 2700 Transport Road due to environmental concerns. The county will now have to find a new jail site or renovate the existing facility. (Cleveland19)
