Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:

  1. Strongsville's first HarvestFest at the Chalet will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will feature live music by Brent Kirby, Smores, Merwin's Wharf's famous clambake, and family-friendly games.   2. The Berea Police Department cited a 35-year-old Strongsville man for driving under suspension on Sep. 24. The citation was given on North Rocky River around 1:00 p.m. He was originally pulled over for failing to signal while turning right onto the road. Officers also found a folded dollar bill in his car containing a white power. The individual's identity has not been released. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
  3. The Strongsville Community Business Expo will be held at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center on Oct. 12. The event had a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be over 100 tables set up at the event featuring products and services. The event will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is open to the public at no charge.
