  1. The Cuyahoga County Jail has released another inmate by mistake. The jail released Andre Lovett on a county weapons case while he was still wanted for a Cleveland gun case. The corrections staff did not catch the Cleveland warrant. This is the second mistaken release this year. In April, the county jail released a murder suspect that was later arrested in Indiana. (Fox 8 News)
  2. The Cuyahoga County Council has proposed $6.9 million in American Rescue Plan Act funding for various projects. The money will go towards community centers, playgrounds, the zoo, police departments, fire departments, arts, and routine municipal expenses.   3. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has listed Cuyahoga County as a yellow area. This designation means that the county has a medium transmission rate for COVID-19. The maps are updated each Thursday. There are many counties in Ohio listed as yellow with two counties listed as red. (Cleveland.com)
