Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:

  1. Strongsville residents can now dial 988 for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The new stream-lined number, which launched on Saturday, will hopefully make the lifeline more accessible and easily remembered. The leading cause of death for U.S. individuals between 10 and 34 is suicide. (Fox 8)

  3. Cuyahoga County's Sia Bavishi has been chosen for the second year to be on the Ohio State Fair's Junior Fair Board.   • The Strongsville Public Library will be hosting a Blood Drive on Aug. 26 at 10:15 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to participate. Each blood donation can save up to three lives. Please mark your calendar. (City of Strongsville)
