- A Cleveland garage door company is being sued by the Ohio Attorney General in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. According to the Attorney General, CLE Door Co. has refused to refund consumers' payments after failing to provide service. According to Attorney General Dave Yost, CLE Door Co. collected almost $182,000 in down payments through the scheme. The office began investigating after receiving 33 consumer complaints about the company. (Newswires)
- New York Times bestselling author Sandra Brown will be discussing her latest book "Overkill" at the Cuyahoga County Public Library. She will be hosting the discussion at the Parma-Snow Branch on Tuesday, Aug. 23 between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Click the following link for the book's description. (Cuyahoga County Public Library)
- Cleveland's Oktoberfest will be returning to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds next month. The popular event will be held on two weekends, Sept. 2 through Sept. 5 and Sept. 9 through Sept. 10. There will be a variety of Oktoberfest-style beers available for participants and live musical performances and wiener dog races will also take place. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
