- Strongsville Mayor Tom Perciak has announced that the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center is expanding its hours. The center will be open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The center will also be adding Sunday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The new operating hours will start on Dec. 4. (City of Strongsville)
- The Drake Road resurfacing project has been postponed. The project was originally meant to begin on Thursday, Oct. 27. The postponement is due to the gas company installing gas lines along Drake Road. The new date for the Drake Road project has not yet been decided. (City of Strongsville)
- The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections has announced that University Heights Library and the John Carroll University Recreation Center will not be used for Nov. 8 voting. The library is unavailable due to recent flood damage and the recreation center is unavailable due to construction work. Library voters will be transitioned to Frank Wiley Middle School.
