  1. Governor DeWine is allocating $47 million to improve the security of school districts across the state. The Strongsville City School District will be receiving $289,000 of that fund to enhance security at six of its school buildings. The district has been proactive in improving school security. There are now two school resource officers permanently placed at the district's middle and high school buildings. (Fox 8)
  2. Cuyahoga County only had 10 percent of registered voters participate in Tuesday's election. The voter turnout rate was 8 percent lower than three months ago. 88,231 people voted on Tuesday. Click for the full list of election results. (News 5 Cleveland)
  3. Cuyahoga County has announced that it will be allocating $2 million for small business grants. The Cuyahoga County Small Business Stimulus Grant Program will provide grants up to $50,000 to local businesses with less than 50 employees. Applications will be accepted till Sept. 9.
