Here are the top three stories today in Strongsville:
- Strongsville's SouthPark Mall will be hosting its Fall Festival from Sep. 23 through Sep. 24. The festival will feature bounce houses, a pumpkin patch, stilt walkers, kid-friendly activities, and more. On Saturday, Sep. 24, the Cleveland Guardians' hot dog trio (Ketchup, Mustard, and Onion) will be at the Fall Festival. (The News Herald)
- The Strongsville Fire Department and the Strongsville Police Department will be hosting a special 9/11 remembrance ceremony on Sep. 11. The ceremony will be at Prospect Road's Fire Station #4 and will last about 15 minutes. The ceremony starts at 9:45 a.m. The community is encouraged to attend. (City of Strongsville)
- Cuyahoga County is collecting input on where it should expand its public bicycle and scooter program. The county is considering expanding the program to more inner ring suburbs but is seeking input to determine the exact locations that residents will find most beneficial. The Ohio Department of Transportation will be reviewing all input. Recommendations can be emailed to sustainability@cuyahogacounty.us. (Cleveland.com)
