Strongsville: 2 Big Community Events Set For Sept. 19

Two major community events will take place this Sunday, Sept. 19.

The Strongsville City Club's annual Breakfast on the Bridge will take place on the Ehrnfelt Covered Bridge, corner of Valley Parkway and Whitney Road in the Cleveland Metroparks. Eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, hash browns and pastries will be served from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the Ehrnfelt Rec Center in advance for $10 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under. At the door, tickets are $11 and $6.

Parking is available at the RTA Park-n-Ride lot on Pearl Road near the turnpike, with a free shuttle to the event.

Everyone is also invited to A Day at the Chalet, a free outdoor arts festival providing entertainment, crafters and hands-on art projects for children and adults. The event is organized by Arts in Strongsville. Food will be sold at a nominal fee.

It runs noon to 5 p.m. at the Cleveland Metroparks Chalet, located on Valley Parkway between Pearl Road and West 130th Street. Shuttles from the RTA Park-n-Ride will also be available for this event.
