Here are the top three stories today in Strongsville:
- Strongsville's ALDI store is hosting a hiring event next week from Sep. 12 through Sep. 18. The event is part of the grocery chain's National Hiring Week initiative. Participants will have the opportunity to interview on-site and job offers will be made the same day. The event will be at the ALDI location on Pearl Road in Strongsville. (Patch)
- A multi-tenant office building owner is asking the City of Strongsville to rezone property at the northwest corner of Ohio 82 across from SouthPark Mall. The rezoning will reportedly allow Jason Sheiban, the managing member of SP-JS1 LLC, to better market the half-empty building. The building currently houses Quick Med Urgent Care and NOBC II LLC. - A Day at the Chalet is scheduled for Sep. 18 between noon and 5:00 p.m. at the Cleveland Metroparks Chalet on Valley Parkway. The annual arts festival will feature music, crafts, and much more. Everyone is welcome to attend and entry is free. There will be free shuttles transporting guests from the RTA Park-n-Ride on Pearl Road. (City of Strongsville)
