Strongsville ATM Smash and Grab Leads to Chase in the Woods
Strongsville Police searched for a third suspect in the woods with police dogs.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — Early Monday morning, a truck smashed into the BP gas station on state Route 82 in Strongsville and three men reportedly took the ATM and put it in the back of the truck.
Fox8.com reports that the three men then led police on a chase for 30 minutes heading into Cleveland. The smash-and-grab thieves got off at Goodman Road and crashed into a telephone pole which fell onto their truck.
The three men tried to flee into the nearby woods, police caught two of them. Police are still searching for the third suspect.
