Strongsville: Blue Bins Are For Recyclables Only

Please remember that the blue recycling bin located off Zverina Lane (behind the Strongsville Emergency Food Bank and across from Castletown Playground) is for recyclable items only -- cans, glass and plastic. There are green bins for paper recycling in the same lot.

Lately, people have been dumping auto parts, furniture, tarps and other garbage in the blue bin. That contaminates the entire load, sending all the items to the landfill instead of being recycled.
Strongsville residents can leave large items on the curbside for pickup on their regular trash day, or can take items to the Transfer Station, 16099 Foltz Parkway.
