- A Strongsville family is anticipating the launch of Artemis 1. Jon Millard's family is closely monitoring the launch because he is an engineer for NASA and has been working on the project for about a decade. The unmanned launch was canceled on Monday due to an issue with one of the rocket's engines, but the next launch window is on Friday at 12:48 p.m. NASA has not set a new launch date yet. (WKYC.com)
- The Strongsville Fire Department battled a house fire on Monday evening at 12380 Janette Drive. The fire started at the rear of the garage and eventually extended into the house. Thankfully, the family was able to get out of the home without any injuries. The family's dog is reportedly missing, however. (Fox 8)
- The Strongsville Police Department is reportedly investigating a call about a Howe Road resident getting locked out of his home. The resident came home on Aug. 16 after being out all night and his girlfriend apparently refused to let him back into the house. The responding officer was not able to locate the caller or able to leave a voicemail on the individual's phone. (Cleveland.com)
