  1. The Strongsville girls' soccer team has fallen to Cincinnati Seton. The match was the OHSAA Division I state championship. The final score was 1-0. The match was hard-fought and occurred in the rain. Seton's Shannon Ott made the game-winning score. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
  2. Strongsville's Sylvan Learning has a new owner. Amy Fletcher is a former esthetics educator and the new owner of the tutoring location. Sylvan Learning is a supplemental learning brand for Kindergarten through 12th-grade students. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
  3. Cuyahoga County had its first flu death of the 2022 flu season. The victim was a 13-year-old child. County health officials continue to encourage residents to get the flu vaccine.
