  1. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has allocated $1.6 million for the Strongsville Police Department. The funds are through the Governor's Ohio Violent Crime Reduction Grant Program. In total, the program will be awarding over $8 million to various law enforcement agencies across the state. (WKYC.com)
  2. Cuyahoga County has two of the state's mysterious new E. coli outbreak cases. The exact cause of the new outbreak is uncertain. There have been 14 cases of the outbreak in Ohio with 15 in Michigan. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has created an online portal for ill residents to submit everything they ate within the past week. That portal can be accessed by clicking here. (Fox 8 News)
  3. Cuyahoga County's COVID-19 community level remains high. This is the fourth week that the county has maintained the high designation through the CDC. The county reportedly has a rate of 224.68 per 100,000 residents. Residents are asked to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status. (WKYC.com)
