1. The very first Twins Days Festival started in 1976 at Glenn Chamberlin Park with 37 sets of twins in attendance.
2. This year the 2013 Twins Days Festival has more than 1,100 sets pre-registered.
3. In 1999 a set of identical twin boys married a set of identical twin girls they met at Twins Days. One of the couples later had a set of identical twins.
4. Every year researchers from around the globe come to find out more information on the science behind twins.
5. The record for number of registered sets of twins was set in 1995 with 2,798. That is 5,596 twins!
