Approval of Tax Incentive Could Bring Business from Hudson
City Council will vote tonight on a tax incentive to bring in the Lianda Corporation

Because of election night, Twinsburg City Council will meet tonight, beginning at 7 p.m. in the
One of the key pieces of legislation at tonight's meeting will be an ordinance that will allow the mayor to enter an agreement with Lianda Corporation of Hudson, providing a tax incentive for the company to move to Twinsburg. The agreement would follow the Twinsburg Occupancy Program for abatements.
Lianda is an importer and distributor of special rubbers, plastics and chemicals, according to the company website.

The company approached the in hopes of moving into a 8285 Darrow Rd. facility if an incentive was available. The incentive from the city would provide a grant amount equal to 33 percent of income taxes payed by employees to be moved to the Twinsburg location.
The company would immediately employ 12 full-time jobs and a $975,000 payroll to Twinsburg, planning to create four new jobs with $300,000 payroll, according to its application to the city.

The company hopes to move from it's office only facility in Hudson to build a main office and warehouse, with a total planned investment of $2.5 million.
