says: Before any more money is spent on engineering plans for additional roundabouts, I believe it is time to address the threatening game of chicken at the roundabout at Liberty and Glenwood. One inexpensive solution would be to replace the small existing yield signs with large warning YIELD signs. That could send a LOUD message to driver that the roundabout is not their privileged nonstop throughway.

Stacey Schmidt Brazie says: Absolutely ridiculous! Half the people don't even understand the rules of the roundabout! Why put them at such a busy intersection?

says: Correctly designed modern roundabouts operate at about 20 mph. It's the low speed interaction that makes them so safe. It is also this slow motion movement that results in less total delay than comparable stop lights.

Dan Gyurcsik says: Horrible idea, would definitely cause more traffic cause everyone is afraid to yield so they just stop!!! Do not use roundabouts on 91!!!!

Valerie Birchak says: Either you're stuck behind the person who is afraid to go into the roundabout or you are in the roundabout and the incoming car doesn't stop and cuts you off so you have to slam on the breaks and pray you don't crash. Such an awful place for this roundabout.

Some people responded to what would change their minds on roundabouts.

Valerie Birchak says: Nothing. They are one big headache anyway you see it especially on 91 if you have to drive through it everyday.

LeeAnn Hendrick-Craft says: Nothing.. its just not right.. 91 is congested anyways. Can you imagine what it would be like it they changed it?
