Twinsburg PD Detains Alleged Illegal Immigrant After Traffic Stop
The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On Feb. 12 Twinsburg police stopped a car while on I-480 West near SR 82. The driver of the car was found to be an illegal immigrant with no identification and no driver's license. Immigration was contacted and a detainer was placed on the man. He was held at the station for transfer.
On Feb. 11 officers saw an "erratic" car turn onto Ravenna from East Idlewood Drive. They stopped the car as it was pulling into a driveway on Pine Tree Lane. The driver was a resident at the address on Pine Tree. While speaking with the driver, he attempted to walk into the house. He was told several times to stop and then he began to pull away from officers. He was arrested for resisting arrest and drunken driving.
On Feb. 11 police were dispatched to Ethans Drive at Darrow Road for a reported drunken driver. Officers found the car and eventually arrested the female driver for drunken driving. Because of statements she made, the driver was transferred to the Cleveland Clinic for a psychiatric evaluation.

On Feb. 12 police went to an East Aurora Road business for a man passed out behind the wheel in the parking lot. Police found the car and knocked on the window. The man, a Hiram resident, got out seeming disoriented and did not know where he was. Officers could smell alcohol and performed a field sobriety test. The man was arrested for physical control and was transported to TPD for booking.
