RITA has issued non-filing notices and administrative subpoenas to taxpayers who appear to owe an income tax filing to RITA. Some people receiving letters will just need to file exemption certificates. Taxpayers that received a subpoena were first issued a non-filing notice and were given an opportunity to respond before a subpoena was issued. Taxpayers should respond by the due date on the Subpoena by simply e-filing the requested returns or exemptions at: www.ritaohio.com, or mailing/faxing the information to RITA:

Attn: Compliance Department 198
Regional Income Tax Agency
PO BOX 470538
Broadview Heights, OH 44147-0538
Faxing to: 440-922-3510
Forms for filing can be found here: https://bit.ly/34sm8y2
