Cleveland Woman Arrested on Drug Possession Charges

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

A Cleveland woman was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphenalia after a traffic stop on Sept. 25.

According to the police report, Tativianique Tate, 23, was driving west on I-480 when police discovered the registration of the car she was driving was expired and the she was driving under suspension and had an active warrant.

Officers pulled the car over as they were talking to Tate and her passenger, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana. While searching the vehicle, police said they found a baggie of marijuana and a "suspected marijuana scale" next to the driver's seat. Officers also found what was identified as marijuana seeds in a book bag in the trunk.
