Counterfeit Money Used At Twinsburg Walgreens

Walgreens on Darrow Road in Twinsburg was victim recently to a counterfeit cash scheme, according to Twinsburg Police.

On Jan. 21, Walgreens called to report that a man had come into the store and bought two items using a $100 bill. The bill turned out to be fake.

The man recieved $86.18 in change and the two items and walked out of the store.

The store's video surveillance system did not provide any useful leads. Police took the fake bill as evidence.
