Help Local Families in Need This Weekend with 'Hot Dogs for the Hungry'
Saturday's event is accepting canned foods for families in need

This weekend the local group Hope for the Homeland will be running , hoping to collect food for those in the community who are less fortunate.
The event will kickoff at 12 p.m. Saturday at Twinsburg's Public Square to collect canned goods and non-perishable foods for those in the Twinsburg community who are in need. The food donated will be sent to a local church for its local food pantry.
There will also be fun events such as bobbing for apples, face painting, live entertainment, raffles, a hot dog eating contest with a $100 prize.

According to the group's Facebook page, Hope for the Homeland is "an organization that reaches out to those in need and those affected by disasters such as tornado's, earthquakes, tsuami's, and anything else related. It is our hope to be God's hands and feet while serving others."
