Hydrant Flushing Starts Soon

It's that time of year. The Twinsburg Fire Department will begin hydrant flushing in the city starting April 16, and should be completed by the end of June.

Firefighter Bob Davet said residents should keep the following in mind:

• This is a necessary action to ensure that all hydrants are in good working order.
• Should the water in your home become discolored; you are advised to run the water until it is clear.
• Be cautious of the firefighters in the roadway – pass with care.
• Flushing should be accomplished Monday through Friday, but it may be necessary to utilize weekends as well.
