Last Chance: Don't Miss Twinsburg's Academic Boosters Meeting

The academic boosters are looking for new members at Thursday's meeting

The Twinsburg Academic Booster Club is looking for new volunteers and members to join them this Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. at .

Member Sue Dye said the founding members are leaving and if no one can replace them the group will be forced to shut down.

The program, which consists of rewards programs for students K-8 and a tutoring/mentoring program for students K-12, helps students excel in both academics and character development. Since its inception ten years ago, the boosters has awarded certificates and other incentives to more than 50 percent of the district's students and awarded more than $5,000 in college scholarship funds to graduating high school seniors.
