Police Bust Man With Drugs, Counterfeit Bill: The Blotter
The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On Jan. 29, while at a routine traffic stop, officers noted a strong smell of burnt marijuana coming from inside the car. After a canine unit found a positive smell, the man was placed into a cruiser. A search of the car uncovered a marijuana grinder with residue and two marijuana cigarettes from the center console. A counterfeit ten dollar bill was recovered in front passenger seat. The man was
arrested for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia.
On Jan. 28 a resident reported that in 2011 someone in Michigan used her name and birth date to get utilities connected to a house there then did not pay the bill. She is working with her bank, the credit reporting agencies, and the utility company to get this removed from her credit report.
On Jan. 29 officers stopped a car at I-480 and SR 91. A canine unit was utilized found the passenger, had drugs on him. He was charged with possession of marijuana, and given a verbal warning to use his seatbelt. The driver was given written warning for a speed violation.

On Jan. 29 an officer patrolling the lot of a Ravenna Road apartment and saw a suspicious car. It was found to be stolen from Pataskala, Ohio. Photos were taken of the vehicle and it was towed. Pataskala Police Department said it will contact the owner to retrieve the vehicle.
On Jan. 30 police saw a suspicious car in the parking lot of the BP gas station on East Aurora Road. After approaching the car and talking to the driver officers found marijuana and paraphernalia in the driver's possession. He was cited and released from the scene with a court date.
