Police Make Multiple Drug Busts: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

On Dec. 30 responded a house on Charles Court on account of a suspicious car. The car was spotted on the street and the two male occupants were found with marijuana butts and pipes, according to the report. Both men were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

On Dec. 31 officers were called to Ashcroft Lane for an assault. Officers spoke to the victim, who said her ex-boyfriend had shown up at her house uninvited and ended up pushing her off her front porch. He then fled the area. The victim was transported to the hospital for her injuries. Officers contacted the ex-boyfriend on his cell phone and he turned himself into police, charged with assault and released on a $500.00 signature bond.

On Dec. 31 Twinsburg police pulled over a car on Twin Hills Parkway at SR 82 for a signal violation. During the stop said they noticed the front passenger had marijuana flakes on his shirt. All passengers were asked to exit the vehicle
and police searched it on probable cause. According to police, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, including pipes, were found in the car. The driver was issued a summons for drug paraphernalia and the front passenger, a 16-year-old boy, was charged with possession of marijuana.

On Dec. 31 officers stopped a car going east on I-480E for weaving.
The driver was cited for weaving and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after multiple marijuana pipes and marijuana buds were found in the car. The man was released at the scene and given a court date.
