Poll: How Excited Are You About Buckeyes' Coach Urban Meyer?

Less than 24 hours ago, the sporting world's worst kept secret became a reality when The Ohio State University named Urban Meyer as the new head coach for the Buckeyes football team.

Some sources said this was a done deal a week ago, even though Meyer denied it. But now it's official.

Meyer, 47, was a graduate assistant with the Buckeyes in the 80s before he was the head coach for programs such as Bowling Green, Utah, and most notably Florida. Meyer took the Gators to two national championships (including one in 2006 against the Buckeyes).

He left the University of Florida in January 2011 to take time off for health reasons.
