says: For the Twinsburg School board, why do you have four principals at the high school? I know Its been quite a few years since I was in school but, there were 1,000 plus in my graduating class alone, and there was ONE principal for that high school (Mentor) 1977. Really now.

says: Great point. I attended a high school with 400 in my graduating class. Thus probably had around 1,300 in the school. One principal and one assistant. The first job I would cut would be school psychologist. Before cutting one teacher, they should make every sport, band and after school activity Play for Pay. Lastly some sort of assesment needs to be charged to apartment dwellers with children. Don't know how that can legally be done, but must be looked into.

says: I think some of these changes should have or could have been implimented years ago...especially some of the staff cuts including the sub-caller position. I think we need to start thinking pro-actively and reactively in light of the state funding cuts we will be experiencing in the next years.

says: If you have a self-sufficient cafeteria program that is using school space and also that is running in the black, why not charge them rent for the cafeteria space? Money could be put back into the general fund for things like utilities (gas, electric, water), trash, rent, etc.

says: If they take away the busing for students who live between 2 and 1.5 miles away from school, did they forget that the city is set up like a rural community? There are not any sidewalks along Rt 91. Cars race up and down the street around dangerous curves and you want kids to walk on the streets in the dark. What about the parents who have to work, how are their children supposed to get home safely?

says: I am betting they think we parents will just drive the kids to school. So, then, what about the rediculous traffic flow at scools like Bissell? You'll have cars mixing in with buses, and kids all around. I've also heard they will consider doing away with full day kindergarten! Our schools have such great performance! Our kids need more education, not less!
