Trio Runs from Cops in Dodge Parking Lot: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

On May 21 a officer was on patrol in the parking lot just after midnight when he saw three people run from the pavilion to the bike path.

The officer caught up with the trio who were identified and arrested.

The girl in the group was charged with underage consumption of alcohol, while one male was charged with marijuana possession and obstruction and the other charged with open container and obstruction.

Expensive items taken from car

On May 21 a Bellaway Drive woman went to police to report a theft.

The woman said someone stole two iPods, a skateboard and a pair of tennis shoes from her car.

After an investigation, a suspect was identified and later charged in juvenile court with receiving stolen property.

What's in the mystery bag?

On May 21 while police were doing a check behind Dodge Intermediate School, an officer saw mysterious items on a picnic table next to the rear doors of the school.

Police found several bags containing clothing, pillows, sleeping bags, hygiene items and a camera.

The second bag had a clear bottle of Bacardi vodka and two large exploding
fireworks inside.

Car or trash can?

On May 21 police met with two people who said that when they returned to their car they noticed an empty cigarette pack and 15 unmarked white pills had been left on the driver's seat.

The pair said that nothing seemed to be missing from the car, however.
