Twinsburg Library Seeking Adjunct Math Teacher

The Twinsburg Public Library is looking to hire an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor.
Adjunct Mathematics Instructors teach one to two classes a week in 2013 for a period of 8 weeks, per semester. Instructors will be hired on a contractual basis, working with the Continuing Education Coordinator.

The library is searching for an instructor to teach Mathematics to offer regularly scheduled classes for adults, for either self-enrichment or GED preparation. Instructor needs to be familiar with Common Core Math requirements for the 2014 GED Test.

The instructor will: develop curriculum and use instructional materials suitable for verbal and/or visual instruction of adult students and provide appropriate instruction and activities for students. Someone with experience would be preferred. Â
These courses are intended to be for self-enrichment purposes. Instructors work with the Continuing Education Coordinator, follow library policies and procedures, and must be able to commit to at least two semesters of classes per year.Â
A Bachelor's degree and teaching certification are preferred. Twinsburg Public Library is an EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) employer.
