WATCH: Club Rock Puts Kids at Center Stage
Local band frontwoman runs rock classes for youngsters, including some from Twinsburg
Nearly 100 kids ages 4 to 16 gather every week in the storefront Borders left last year to rock out to Adele, Kesha and other singers at Club Rock, the brainchild of Solon resident Avril Burg, lead singer in Run Avril Run.
Girls and boys from Twinsburg and all over the area, including Beachwood, Cleveland Heights and Solon, learn about vocals, dancing and stage precence. At the end of the 10-week sessions, the class performs a rock show at in Mayfield Heights.
