Parents and community can take survey to help school district meet students' needs

Until Sunday, May 20 parents and residents can take an online survey to provide feedback on their satisfaction with the district's performance, especially regarding the recent $3.2 million changes.
To take the survey, simply go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/29FRBQQ and answer the questions. The should take about five minutes to complete.

"We are curious to hear what the community thinks of the value of education and we want to be able to respond to concerns that are being raised," Superintendent Kathryn Powers said when .
Questions on the survey inquire what people think about how the district uses tax money or if the amount is too high or too low.

It also asks how parents rate the district as a whole and who they trust to provide important information regarding the schools.
The final question asks about the biggest challenge facing the district. Possible responses include finances, academic performance, quality of staff and extra-curricular activities.
