Woman Reports $2,200 Engagement Ring Stolen: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

A Hudson woman told police she had her diamond engagement ring stolen after a session at TNT Tanning on Darrow Road. She left the $2,200 ring sitting on a stool by the tanning bed, realizing she left it after she was gone. By that point the ring was missing.

On March 27 Twinsburg police found a running car in the parking lot on East Aurora Road running without a driver. Officers saw a pill container with a baggie inside, which the driver admitted, once he returned, was marijuana. He was cited for drug possession.

On March 28 a 49-year-old Twinsburg employee told police a man who had been stalking her for several years had left her a personal letter, even after being told by police to stay away. She filed a menacing complaint.

A Sandalwood Drive man told police on March 29 that the IRS is investigating his tax return. Only the man had not filed a return yet. The resident contacted the IRS who confirmed that a fraudulent return had been submitted.
