
The Westlake Safety Town is looking for reliable student volunteers to work with young children this summer.
Anyone entering sixth grade and up in the fall is eligible to voluteer. Time served can count towards sophomore service hours, or scouting merit badges.
The first two-week session starts June 11, preceded by a mandatory volunteer staff meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 5 in the Safety Town Pavilion at the .
There will also be a 1-week session beginning July 23 from 8:30 to 11:00 am or 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.
Applications can be picked up at the Police Station, and returned there when completed. Parents must sign the permission slip.

Volunteers will receive a certificate, a t-shirt, 2 Peterson Pool passes and a pizza party at Peterson Pool for their help.
