Car Thieves Swap One Stolen Car for Another
The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Someone drove a stolen car into a Sperry Drive restaurant parking lot, left it there and stole another car, said.
Around 10 p.m. on June 3, a 2001 Dodge Caravan was stolen from the lot. A 2001 Dodge Neon, which was found to have been stolen that same day in Westlake, was left behind.
There were also attempts to force open doors of a 2005 Dodge Magnum and a 2011 Ford pickup also in the parking lot.

The occupants of a stolen red Jeep were seen on camera getting into the stolen Neon and tampering with other vehicles. The Jeep later crashed in North Olmsted and was abandoned. North Olmsted police also recovered the stolen Caravan there.
