Carlos Lopez Jr., 35, Cleveland Police Officer

Carlos Lopez Jr., 35, of Westlake died June 20.

Lopez was born Sept. 17, 1976 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Luz Hansen and the late Carlos Lopez Sr.

He was a patrolman in the Cleveland Police Department, FIfth District.

In addition to his mother, Lopez is survived by his wife Lissette (Gomez) Lopez; daughter Gia; siblings Christina Santiago (Joe) and Stephanie Lopez; grandmothers Teresa and Eva; parents-in-law Luis and Diosa Gomez; brother-in-law Luis Gomez; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment is at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road Brook Park.
