Construction Alert: Dover-Hilliard Intersection Work

Westlake Service Dept. will be repairing the Dover Center Road - Hilliard Boulevard intersection. Drivers should prepare for a change in traffic patterns. The Westlake Police Department released the amended patterns:

Tuesday, April 2: 8 a.m. -8 p.m.*

Southbound Dover Center traffic will be shifted into the left turn lane to go through the intersection.  

There will be no left turn onto Hilliard; signs will be placed in advance of the intersection to alert drivers of the restriction.  The westbound curb lane and bike lane of Hilliard will also be closed; one westbound lane will remain open.

Wednesday April 3:  8 a.m. - 8 p.m.*
Southbound Dover Center traffic will be shifted into the left turn lane to go through the intersection.

There will be no left turn onto Hilliard; signs will be placed in advance of the intersection to alert drivers of the restriction.

The left westbound lane on Hilliard will be closed to finish the repair; one westbound lane will remain open.

*Each repair will remained coned off until approximately 8 p.m. that day at which time the closed lanes will reopen, according to Westlake Police Captain Guy Turner.
