Drunk Man Makes Threats, Chest-Bumps Cop, Gets Tasered
The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A Maple Heights woman did the right thing when she wouldn't let her intoxicated husband drive.
Unfortunately, he did not see that.
The man fought with his wife while they were driving on Detroit Road around 7:08 p.m. on July 22. He got out of the car near Crocker Road, and started asking other drivers for a ride. When one woman refused, he threatened to kill her and she called 911.

When arrived, the man chest-bumped one officer and wouldn't submit to arrest. That's when he got tasered.
He was taken to to have the taser barbs removed, and he repeatedly threatened to kill the medical staff there.

The man is being charged with domestic violence, two counts of aggravated menacing, misdemeanor assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct by intoxication.
