โ€œItโ€™s a way to clean out your medicine cabinet and turn this stuff in,โ€ said Sgt. William Atsberger. โ€œThis way, nobody has access to them that shouldnโ€™t have access.โ€

To ensure your privacy, remove or black-out your prescription labels. Do not bring any hazardous materials or needles for disposal.

According to a news release, the program โ€œprotects our children, our water and our food supplies and decreases prescription drug abuse by making it easier for you to properly dispose of unused or expired medication.โ€
