Gun-Toting Man Robbed, Threatened Woman In Westlake: Police
A man got into the woman's car, pulled out a gun and threatened to kill her, according to police.
WESTLAKE, OH โ A man robbed and threatened to kill a woman in Westlake last week.
On Sept. 27, a woman called 911 and said a man had just pointed a gun at her and robbed her after they met at the Cheesecake Factory.
The woman was meeting the man to buy a cell phone, she told police, but the deal went sour. After meeting, the man got into her car, pulled out a gun and threatened to kill her, Westlake police said.

The man stole approximately $500, via cash app, from the woman.

Officers searched the area around Cheesecake Factory but did not immediately find the suspect. He was later identified and taken into custody by Westlake police, a department spokesperson said.
