Heroin Believed To Play Role In Overdose In Westlake Bathroom: PD
A 22-year-old woman may have overdosed in a Westlake restaurant's bathroom, according to police.
WESTLAKE, OH โ Suspected heroin was found on a woman struggling to breathe in a bar bathroom in Westlake, police announced.
On Thursday, at 8 p.m., officers were sent to a Crocker Park bar after callers reported a possible drug overdose. When police arrived, they found a 22-year-old woman in the bathroom who appeared "out of it." The woman was conscious and breathing though, police said.
While waiting for paramedics to arrive, the woman told officers she used what she believed was heroin, according to police. When EMS arrived, the woman was taken to St. John Medical Center for treatment.

Evidence was collected in the bathroom. Charges may be filed pending the results of an analysis of the suspected narcotics.
