Jihan J. Shayeb, 49, Mother of Two

Jihan J. (Kash) Shayeb, 49, of Westlake died August 8.

She was born Jan. 3, 1963, in Ramallah, Palestine, to Zuhdieh and the late Jeries Kash.

In addition to her mother, Shayeb is survived by her husband, Jamal S. Shayeb; children Susie Shayeb Deas (Robert) and Liela Shayeb; dear daughter of Zuhdieh and the late Jeries Kash; dear sister of Ghassan, Marwan, Mazen Kash, and May Sarrouh; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Shayeb was preceded in death by her father and sister, Hanan Saah.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, August 9, at , with Trisagion Service at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 10, at St. Elias Church, 8035 Memphis Ave., Brooklyn. Interment will be at Lakewood Park Cemetery, 22025 Detroit Rd., Rocky River.
