No Need To Be Alarmed, It's Just A Test ... of the Government's Emergency Alert System

The test will happen simultaneously on all radio and television stations at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

It's just a test, only a test. No need to be alarmed.ย

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is testing its emergency alert system at 2 p.m. Wednesday on every radio and television station in the country, including Alaska, Hawaii, the territories of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa.

The test is only 30 seconds long. On the radio, you'll hear that it's just a test. On television, you'll see a crawl that tells you it's a test.
