Is 39 years old too old to be grounded by your dad?
A Bay Village woman may be finding that out the hard way.
She reported the theft of her father's 2009 Lexus E35 from the garage of his Quail Hollow home at 1:42 a.m. on May 22. The woman told police that she had been housesitting and noticed it missing from the garage around 9 p.m. the night before. She had no explanation for the delay in reporting it to the police.

The car was found at a Center Ridge Road tavern, with the keys on the front seat, shortly after she was interviewed by police. When police told her that, she suddenly remembered driving there to go to a nearb convenience store.
The city prosecutor is considering charges of falsification and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, as she did not have her father's permission to use his car.
