Unlocked SUV Stolen From Westlake Home: Police

The keys were left inside the stolen vehicle, police said. Investigators have been able to track down the missing SUV.

WESTLAKE, OH โ€” A car was stolen out of a Westlake driveway last week, the same night thieves also broke into an unlocked car elsewhere in the city.

On Friday morning, a Southbridge Circle resident called 911 and reported that one of their SUVs was missing. Investigators determined that someone walked onto the resident's property at 3:50 a.m., got into two unlocked vehicles and drove off in one of them.

Police believe the keys were left in the SUV that was stolen, a Westlake spokesperson said.
