Where To Get A COVID-19 Test In Westlake
As concerns over COVID-19 grow, demand for tests has exploded across Ohio.
WESTLAKE, OH โ There are two locations offering COVID-19 tests in Westlake, according to the Ohio Department of Health.
Westlake residents can get tests at either Porter Public Library, 27333 Center Ridge Road, or CVS Pharmacy, 30791 Detroit Road. Demand for tests is high, so residents should call ahead to confirm tests are available.
If you go to Porter Public Library, you'll receive a free take-home test, courtesy of the Ohio Department of Health.

Earlier this year, the department partnered with libraries across Ohio to distribute free COVID-19 testing kits. In August alone, libraries issued more than 53,000 tests to Ohioans.
โAs the delta variant spreads across the state and our students and teachers head back to school, there has been renewed interest in testing for COVID-19,โ said Gov. Mike DeWine. โThese tests โ and Ohioโs amazing network of public libraries โ make it easier than ever for Ohioans to get tested and to ensure that we are limiting the spread of the delta variant.โ

If you can't find a test in Westlake, the Ohio Department of Health maintains a database of all testing and distribution centers in Ohio.
โUntil more people are vaccinated, testing will be an important tool, and we are committed to making it easy to access,โ said Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff, director of the Ohio Department of Health. โOur partnerships with libraries to make the at-home rapid tests accessible and convenient are a real breakthrough in our ability to get as many Ohioans tested as possible.โ
